Acquisition expands BearCom’s voice and data solutions throughout the state of Texas
August 1, 2016: Dallas, TX — BearCom Group, Inc. (“BearCom”), the nation’s largest and pre-eminent provider of wireless communications equipment and solutions for two-way radios and other push-to-talk technologies, today announced the acquisition of CTS Consolidated Telecom Services, LLC (“CTS”), with their principle office in Round Rock (Austin), Texas and satellite offices in Houston, San Antonio, Temple and Waco.

Since 2007, CTS has served the Central Texas corridor with wireless voice and data systems, advanced engineering solutions, and consulting services. CTS offerings include two-way radio systems, push-to-talk networks, GPS and RFID tracking, Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPSs), interoperability, site design and construction services. CTS has a portfolio of customers in the industrial and commercial sectors with a strong emphasis serving state and local government organizations, including public safety agencies. CTS has expertise in State Consultation support services for the FirstNet broadband communications networks for First Responders.

This transaction now brings BearCom’s total number of branch offices to 33. Terms were not announced.
